INTERNATIONAL WAREHOUSE PGT

Location: Tocancipa, Colombia.

Privates partners required to established the first international warehouse in a rural and industrial area in Tocancipa Colombia, with the expectation to create an business zone through a creative industry, providing spaces for expression and specific production.

The architectural concept is based on modern architecture, focused on sustainability and bioclimatic. Where the project currently has LEED certification, for its ecological construction, innovative design, materials and alternative energies. The project has floating facades (aluminum sunshades), glass facades with UV filters, sustainable materials and a metal and concrete structure on its porches and foundations.

The owner of the property wanted to establish an architectural project located in a natural space in the mountains with a direct link with the environment and an amazing insect such as the bee.

A project inspired by these insects, where the main economic of this property source is sustainable and the production of honey from bees.

Sustainable architecture is used with local materials and local resources, always seeking sustainable development and respecting nature.
